COMPETITIVE
PROGRAM
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Oklahoma Celtic is a proud member of both the Boys and Girls Elite Clubs Regional League. ECNL RL brings the highest level of competition and professionalism to our U13 -U19 (2014 - 2006) players. The league will challenge our players in every match to be their best and allow for the perfect developmental platform and exposure for our members. We believe in the total athlete and supporting high school soccer, this platform allows us to give the highest levels of opportunity while still allowing players to develop in other sports and have the opportunity to participate in their high schools. Please search our ECRL link to find all information on the program.
The Competitive Division of soccer begins at U-11 (2014). Oklahoma Celtic division of soccer is the most competitive level of play in NYSA. Our competitive players and coaches will demonstrate the highest level of commitment to excellence in skills, fitness, work ethic, attitude, and sportsmanship.
We believe in developing players to be their best, not in training for results. We will not take shortcuts in the developmental process. Our players will be asked to compete at their highest level each day at training so that they may develop to their maximum potential. The development of our players comes before the development of our teams and its success.
Teams play on a yearly basis with winter break mid-December-mid January, and summer break in June & July. Camps run through the month of June & July and team training starts up the first week in August. Teams will compete in leagues that best challenge their level in the OPL state league or ECNL Regional League(s). Teams will compete in 4 - 6 tournaments annually. The competitive season culminates with the OPL State Cup in May to determine state Champions in multiple levels of competition.
OPL is a fully sanctioned US Youth Soccer and Oklahoma Soccer Association competitive league. OPL is the most competitive OSA league, which provides a high level of play between our top-caliber teams across the entire state. OPL aids in developing competitive youth soccer players in Oklahoma and serves as the league that determines the eligibility of participating teams and seeding for other OSA State Competitions.
