Thaddeus Caraway

Thaddeus Caraway was born and raised in Murrieta, California, and joined the Southwest Soccer Club of Temecula, California. Throughout High School, Thaddeus started Varsity soccer all 4 years, earning multiple 1st team honors and recognition at Vista Murrieta High School in the Southwestern League Conference. Thaddeus grew up in the club soccer system, ultimately landing a position in college at California State University Los Angeles (CSULA). Where he started 11 games as a true freshman earning athlete of the week honors. Thaddeus started for Palomar College in all games in his second college season, serving as the team captain, and earned 2 nd team all-league honors (Coast Athletic Conference). In 2012, Thaddeus tested his abilities in the NPSL for San Diego Boca again, earning the starting position and being selected as team captain.

Starting his professional coaching journey, Thaddeus joined Club Tijuana USA Academy in 2011 as the Director of Goalkeeping. Thaddeus also served as the Goalkeeper Coach, Varsity Assistant, and Freshmen Head Coach at Vista Murrieta High School from 2011 to 2013. After his time at Club Tijuana, Vista Murrieta High School, and San Diego Boca, Thaddeus took on a new challenge by joining the United States Army. Thaddeus has served in the Army for over 11 years as a Cavalry Scout and an Active Duty and Reserve Recruiter. Additionally, Thaddeus served as the Goalkeeper coach for the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Noble HS in 2021. Thaddeus has been with Oklahoma Celtic since the beginning of 2024 as a Goalkeeper Assistant; this season, Thaddeus will serve as the new Goalkeeper Director. Thaddeus is also the Goalkeeper Coach for the Men’s and Women’s teams at Oklahoma City University.

Thaddeus holds the National E license and will have completed the National D license by November.
